I mostly work with Senior Executives and C-Suite to help them develop organisational leadership and enhance personal effectiveness to become impactful industrial leaders, which drives significantly greater business results and organisation’s performance & influence. I excel in unleashing executives’ greatness to become the best that they were meant to be, to achieve breakthrough results and create sustained success.
I partnered with a regional CEO of a global Oil & Gas company for 12 months coaching programme. The main focus was setting corporate strategy and working with the board. The Regional CEO was viewed indecisive in setting the direction for the organisation and used to involve extensively the board.
The process of the coaching engagement includes creating awareness, challenging entrenched views, application practice, organisational leadership development, enhancing personal agility, improving effective communication, and self- management.
As the result of the coaching engagement, the regional CEO effectively made decision in setting the company’s vision by including strengths & purpose of the company, business values & opportunities, and expectations from the board, investors, employees and other stakeholders; developed a good relationship with the board by not just creating good connection with the chair and individual board members, but also forging good alignment and collaboration between the board and his top executives; and enhanced his capabilities in balancing board’s inputs and company’s business growth.
I coached the Managing Director of a global consulting firm to improve personal effectiveness and developing her leadership team.
In the first year of transitioning into the organisational leadership position, the Managing Direction was facing challenges including time management, setting priorities and building a strong high-performing leadership team that she inherited.
The coaching engagement was 12 one-on-one coaching sessions, and along the developmental process she already gained clarity on the challenges she was facing. By leveraging on her high-quality resources and support she was able to manage her schedule and priority effectively.
Specifically on building the leadership team, she first authentically connected her personal purpose to leadership needed with the executive team, and identified developmental needs for a few individuals. She delegated Talent Development Personnel to ensure the effectiveness of the Development Program, and dedicatedly engaged with the team to review the progress and outcome. She successfully developed best-fit talents to those high-value roles.
I had 16 years of corporate working experience in Fortune 500 companies in Business & Strategic Planning, Market Management on APAC and Global level. While worked for IBM, I was leading Software Group in market management for APAC region. My last role in corporate was with Siemens, and I was the Director, Mainstream Engineering Education Sector APAC. heading the Education Development Division for entire APAC region, I built a strong performing and significantly increased market coverage in Asia Pacific region and impacted on Industrial Design on a global level.
