Shiv is Board Advisor at Cornerstone based at Gurgaon/ NCR office. He is leading Electric Mobility, Battery Storage, and green energy practice. He is an experienced C-suite leader with more than 30 years of experience in Technology business & operations in areas of Energy Storage, Semiconductors, Solar PV, Data storage devices, FT display, and Optical Fiber. He has been CEO of several high technology companies. Besides a keen appreciation of technology, he brings business development skills and extensive experience in Management. Intimately familiar with operations and project management, he has a proven history of aiding and significantly improving the efficiency and success of numerous businesses. He has actively worked on advanced Solar PV technologies and helped acquire niche companies worldwide.
Previous Experience
Shiv has a long stint in the corporate sector, where he has worked for several large multinational organizations like Avanstrate Japan, Moserbaer, Sterlite technologies Waaree and Usha India. In the recent past, he established a Lithium-ion energy storage systems company in the field of Electric mobility and Battery Storage system. He profoundly understands electrochemistry, battery management systems, and Lithium-ion Battery manufacturing. He has Led large projects like Vedanta’s Display Fab. In the past, he has been CEO of Global companies like Avanstrate Inc Japan and Moserbaer and was Project manager of India’s first Private sector semiconductor Fab at Usha India-Samsung Electronics in the 90s.
Academics and Interests
Shiv completed his Engineering studies at NIT in 1988 and supplemented it with PG-Dip in finance from ICFAI and other professional qualifications in Management. He takes a keen interest in tech start-ups in EV, Lithium Ion cells, and Optical fiber, where he mentors them, deploying his experience, technology, and business understanding. Shiv loves playing golf in his free time
