Most of my clients work in high-tech, bio-tech, financial and banking sector. They are aspiring leaders or established executives with expert technical minds who are brave enough to want to change and advance to higher levels. The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping them identify the core challenges and setbacks in their lives, so that they can overcome them with confidence. In addition, I develop and conduct group coaching and training programs to promote a culture of peer coaching and more effective teams by learning how to use coaching principles in their day–to-day communication.
Results Achieved
A scientist in a large bio-tech company was lacking confidence and questioned her capabilities, which led her to seek input from others before making decisions. After a few months of personal coaching, the tables turned: she became outspoken and felt comfortable taking initiatives. Now others come to her for advice and request her input for personal and professional matters. As a result, she is more engaged at work and has improved team collaboration and productivity.
An aspiring leader in a technology company faced challenges which affected his ability to lead and communicate effectively, resulting in poor performance and lack of engagement. Through coaching, he realized how his attitude affected work relationships and performance. Professional History
With a 19-year corporate background consulting in software development and project management for high-tech and financial organizations, I understand people with that mindset and the challenges they face. Through years of classroom facilitation and coaching, I gained extensive experience helping technical experts to build emotional intelligence and obtain the essential leadership skills needed to succeed. I specialize in the transition from expert to leader. At the same time, I coach individuals to align their needs and personal values with their work to achieve fulfillment and exceptional results. My skills were developed in diverse business cultures of global markets such as USA, Europe, China, South East Asia, Ghana and Central America.
Credentials
I am a Certified Professional Coach through iPEC Coaching and with the International Coach Federation. I am a certified Energy Leadership Index – Attitudinal Assessment Master Practitioner. I’m also a Certified Effective Facilitator through Leadership Strategies and Dale Carnegie.
