Most of my clients are senior executives who want to become more effective in leading their organizations to achieve better business results and to improve personal effectiveness as individuals and leaders. They are intelligent, hardworking, motivated and have a strong desire to continuously improve themselves. Certain behavior may be holding them back from becoming more successful.
RESULTS ACHIEVED
A Managing Director of a world leading healthcare company was very good at consistently delivering business results that exceed management expectation – yet he was abrasive and always short-tempered in dealing with his direct reports and peers. Through coaching, he became aware of the cause of his behavior and learned what triggered his negative emotions.
I then helped him increase his awareness of his emotions and interpret the events that triggered his emotions positively so that he could respond in a way that would benefit him the most. As a result, he was able to reduce his direct report turnover and improve team work with his peers.
I conducted coaching to the senior leadership team of a large Hong Kong conglomerate to help the team perform at a higher level. The participants, including the division head and senior directors, were made aware of key obstacles and challenges that were holding the team back from being more cohesive and productive. Through the coaching, they were then able to map out key action items to bring the team to a higher level of performance. As a result of the coaching, the team became more positive toward one other and more productive as a team which led to improved business results.

COACHING APPROACH
I strongly believe that sustainable improvements and behavioral changes start with the renewal of the mind. Coaching at the “being level” is a precondition for successful changes.
