He has vast experience in the energy and water sector and has been addressing challenges for local and international companies in the region
Mazen is based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia and is a Saudi National. He is a graduate of King Fahad University of Petroleum Minerals in Dhahran with a BSc in Electrical Engineering and has completed the Advanced International Senior Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He started his career at Saudi Aramco power systems division Following this engagement, he joined Saudi Cable Company as Assistant VP of Marketing and Sales. He then assumed the senior role of VP at Saudi Electricity Company where he spent more than 15 years focusing in the western region. He became the Country Executive for General Electric where he was able to lead his team grow revenues from 120 millions to 2 billion from 2002 to 2008 with a phenomenal growth of approximately 50 compounded per year
He has been the Managing Partner for the Middle East for Black and Veatch as well as the President of Al Tukhi Trading & Industry and Contracting.
He has led the efforts as Chief Executive Officer for CAD Middle East Pharmaceutical Industries and served as a Board advisor at Al Mashriq Pharmaceutical Industries. Today Mazen he serves the boards of Sawari Energy, Saudi Fisheries Company, AisA Group , He is an advisor to 3 contracting companies CEOs, and an associate of Visionarbia
