Maria brings more than 25 years of experience in the Human Resources field in consultancy and senior management roles in multinational companies in Infrastructure, Services, Industrial, Energy and Technology sectors.

She provides a holistic view of the business from her experience of more than 15 years as Executive Committee member and has developed expertise in Corporate Governance, especially in the Nomination and Remuneration Committees, during her appointment as Secretary of this Committee in Ferrovial for 5 years. She has broad experience in designing and implementing leadership and talent strategies, leadership assessment and development programs, succession planning and leadership due diligence in M&A transactions.

Maria started her professional career as a consultant in PDA (USA), Accenture and Willis Towers Watson, and has been HR Director in Soluziona, Getronics, and Ferrovial where she became CHRO.

Elected Top 100 Spain’s most influential women in 2015.

Maria holds a Psychology degree from Universidad Complutense of Madrid and a postgraduate program in Human Resources Management from University of Maryland (USA).  Certified in Hogan Assessments and Executive coaching (Performance Consultants International).
