Jakub is an experienced executive search and business development professional with a strong background in international trade, finance, energy, and technology-driven sectors. A graduate of the University of Economics and Management in Prague, Faculty of Business Management, has built a career that bridges both public and private sectors across multiple continents.

His international experience spans Toronto, London, St. Petersburg, and Kuala Lumpur, where he gained deep insights into multicultural business environments. Beginning in 2004, Jakub worked at the Economic Department of the Embassy of Malaysia, responsible for cooperation with foreign investors, government bodies, and key corporate clients.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in investment, trade, and promotional projects between the Czech Republic and Malaysia, as well as in working commissions at the Municipal House Prague, Ministries of Transport, Foreign Affairs, and Industry and Trade. He also held senior positions in a brokerage company operating on the US market, where he managed financial services and financial-legal operations.

At SEVEn Energy, Jakub contributed his expertise to multiple international expert groups focused on energy efficiency and participated in projects across several EU countries. His professional activities have also extended into the defense industry and innovation ecosystems, where he supports organizations in developing strategic capabilities and adopting new technologies.

Between 2014 and 2025, he served as a board member and interim manager of several private companies specializing in financial services, promotions, fintech, and recruitment. His cross-sector experience allows him to combine analytical and strategic perspectives with a deep understanding of operational realities.

In addition to his corporate work, Jakub is actively involved in the non-profit sector, where he serves in statutory bodies of several organizations focused on social inclusion and accessibility. He is the Chairman of the Barrier-Free Commission of the Prague 1 Municipal District, where he leads initiatives to improve accessibility and promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities, including wheelchair users. His dedication to diversity and inclusion extends beyond policy work — he actively connects individuals with disabilities to meaningful professional opportunities.
