Coaching Approach

I believe that people are naturally resourceful and resilient. Both being and doing are important for one’s fulfillment. I use a co-active approach to help clients with their career development and career transition.

My coaching approach derives from the knowledge obtained from my 25 years of corporate leadership, business operation, and management.  I work with clients to find their goals and unlock their potential, and co-create a roadmap to enable them to advance their career with confidence and purpose, or quickly and smartly transition to a new career.

Typical Clients

I am an ICF certified coach specialized in transition coaching. With 25 years of corporate experience, the majority of my clients are executives and emerging leaders from multinational companies or large companies with regional, national, or international responsibilities. Many are working in China and/or have strategic responsibilities for China, or Asia, or global teams.  They have high potential with strong desires for higher achievements. They are motivated, intelligent, and hardworking. They want to develop and change their businesses and transform lives.  And certain mindsets and behaviors may be holding them back to fully express themselves and become more successful leaders.

Results Achieved

I coached a senior engineer in a traditional industry for 14 months. During our sessions, I helped her in various areas to grow: she is able to identify her goals in life, increase her emotional awareness and control, overcome her limiting believes, get out her comfort zone, and communicate and act like a leader. Therefore, she could tap her potential and has made her successful career transition and jumpstart her career.

The coaching has transformed her into a stronger leader. She becomes a Senior Director in a fast-paced world top 100 digital company leading a team in AI applications.

I coach managers and executives so that they can realize their challenges and the self-talks holding them back. Through co-active coaching, we co-create roadmap for them to take key action steps to reach a higher level of excellence and happiness.

Through transition coaching, I help clients develop their potential, realize career advancement, and transition smoothly into new positions.

Professional History

I am an ICF Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC) and ICA certified Soft-Skill Trainer (TFT). I have incorporated the facilitating and coaching skills into my executive management roles since 2014. I believe a good leader should also be a good coach to develop her people and business operations.

As an executive with 25 years of global multinational companies in the pharmaceutical production, food production, biotech, and agricultural industries, I have accumulated and skilled vast experience in leadership and management.  I held roles as Managing Director & General Manager, Senior Manager of China Region, Director of International Business, Director of Genetic Research Lab, Founder & Founding President China Chapter, and scientific patent holder.
