Typical Clients

My clients range from high-performing executives to the C-Suite to Board Members who desire to lead themselves, lead others, and lead the organization. They have a learning and growth mindset based on curiosity, open-mindedness, and optimism.

Results Achieved

Paraphrasing Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, it’s about work-life harmony. When you’re tremendously energized at work, you’ll be tremendously energized at home and vice versa.

Imagine working in Syria, a war-torn country. My client, an engineer, wanted to “work with happiness, not stress”. We co-created through the “Coach Approach” while developing his leadership skills as a new theory personally and professionally: “Acceptance that life is a journey, bringing more happiness, and increasing efficiency”. He practiced his new leadership and communication skills to implement this theory with the country’s team, line manager, staff, delegation, and his own family.

The “Coach Approach” was successful in developing his leadership skills which led to a promotion as Team Leader and quality time with his family. It was a win-win for everyone involved. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest, his work-life harmony with relative happiness and increased efficiency jumped from 1 to 3.5 which is remarkable in a country under fire.

On another occasion, I coached a CEO & Chairman of the Board for an early stage startup in connection with board and shareholder management and choosing the right investors for his company. He and his founding team had an unfair compensation package. For some reason, they were hesitant in speaking up and demanding what they’re worth from the investors. After coaching and role playing, they voiced their demands verbally with legal support to their shareholders, taking the risk that they could all get fired.

The risk paid off and the shareholders agreed to their new and fair compensation package, including bringing in a valued investor with industry knowledge, experience, and strategic connections for future partnerships. It was a win-win for all. As a result, the company’s management team became extremely motivated and is outperforming projected revenues.

Professional History

Prior to coaching, my career started out in finance in the United States (BankBoston, now Bank of America) and as an angel investor in Europe. After consultation with a career coach in Geneva, Switzerland, I made a career transition to marketing communications at one of the world’s largest communications firms, WPP: Advertising, Branding, Public Relations, and Digital Marketing in New York City. This experience gave me the foundation to launch my own Global Media Ventures company, Loralia LLC. For over two decades, I worked across industries from startups to the Fortune 500 in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa, India, and Asia and lived on three different continents (Americas, Europe, Africa). Clients included: Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, Bank of New York Mellon, Safra National Bank of New York, NorthPointe Personnel/Asset Staffing, AccorHotels, Jet Airways, Accommodations Plus International (API), Aram Investments Ltd., Siemens, Vivendi, Citibank, Kraft, Accenture, American Airlines, and Embraer.

Coaching Approach

I create a safe environment for executives to explore their inner critic, limiting beliefs, assumptions, and outmoded behaviors. Together, we co-create a theory or innovative platform to experiment with their new belief system and achieve optimal results both personally and professionally. This approach strengthens leaders with valuable leadership skills, transfers knowledge and builds better relationships through conversational intelligence based on trust, respect, and cultural sensitivity creating sustainable solutions.

I apply what I’ve learned from the top mentors, coaches, and coach training institutes in the world over the past 10 years that include: Tony Robbins, Marshall Goldsmith, Evolving Wisdom with Dr. Jean Houston, “Coach Friend” of The TAI Group (Executive Leadership), Coach Training Institute, Columbia Business School’s Institute for Personal Leadership, iPEC, Dr. David Drake, Founder, Center for Narrative Coaching Design and Moment Institute, Servant Leadership (Ken Blanchard), Lisa Ann Edwards, Coaching with ROI™,  and Judith E. Glaser, Conversational Intelligence™ . I walk the talk by having a learning and growth mindset of my own—an essential ingredient for an excellent coach.
