Clive has over 30 years of experience as a business leader which clients find invaluable, whether they engage him as a coach, consultant, facilitator or executive recruiter. He is based in the UK and works globally.
Most of Clive’s clients are senior level executives and business owners who are looking for world class support, as well as the counsel and reflections from an experienced executive coach. He has particular interest in working with business owners and leadership teams who want to develop their leadership and teamship as well as their organization’s competencies and talent pool.
Before partnering with Auxilium-Cornerstone, Clive ran AVASST which is a boutique consultancy he founded 15 years ago to help businesses grow through the development of their people. The services that Clive offers include: executive search, design & delivery of bespoke learning & development programmes, executive coaching, interim management, executive facilitation and mentoring.
Previously Clive has successfully lead businesses in range of sectors from electronics to Utilities. In his career he has worked for Metal Box, Goodyear, Tetra Pak, Oxford Instruments, Bridon Ropes and United Utilities. His roles include Managing Director, General Manager, Operations Director, Manufacturing Manager and Programme Manager.
His achievements in these positions include establishing and delivering high business growth, (establishing businesses and delivering challenging growth goals) mergers & acquisitions, divestments, streamlining European distribution, international technology transfer and managing cross-border businesses.
Having also worked in professional sport, in particular Motorsport where he has been an Engineer and Team Manager as well as race driver, Clive offers insights and support for those who are serious about raising their performance.
Clive is co-author of several popular business books including: Cope with Change at Work, The Personality Handbook, Motivating People and a forthcoming title on Risk.
Clive is a certified Professional Executive Coach and NLP Practitioner and recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching Supervision. He has received a Fellowship in Manufacturing Management from Cranfield University, is a Chartered Engineer and holds an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Engineering from Liverpool University.
Also he is a licensed to use the Emotional Capital Report [ECR & ECR360] – Roche Martin, Risk Type Compass – Psychological Consultancy Ltd, Mental Toughness MTQ48 – AQR Ltd. He is also a Member of the National Council of Psychotherapists – MNCP (Snr Accred).
