By Karen Greenbaum
President & CEO, AESC
Alejandra has been an active member of AESC for many years. This was her sixth year as member of the AESC Americas Council, she was a member of our LATAM Diversity Council, and a recognized leader for our profession in Chile.
With the full support of the AESC Board Nominating and Governance Committee as well as leaders of the Americas Council, we will be bestowing AESC’s most prestigious award to Alejandra posthumously. This award is the capstone award for the profession, honoring significant career-long achievement while recognizing the highest standards of work.
Nominees rise above the rest and have outstanding reputations—icons in the profession.
All who knew Alejandra recognize her as a top-notch professional and colleague and an important contributor to AESC and our profession. She played a key leadership role in our efforts in Chile to promote women leaders, collaborating with the top 100 companies in Chile and even coordinating the writing of a book featuring leading women.
The leadership at Cornerstone International Group as well her competitors in Chile have highlighted her dedication, her professionalism and her ability to teach us how to be the best possible.
May the memory of Alejandra be a blessing to her family, friends and all whom she touched in her too short life.
