Formerly with BearingPoint Management & IT Consulting based in Japan (now known as PwC Consulting Inc.), Markus brings to the team at RLC over eight years of experience in Corporate HR gained with companies such as Alpine Electronics and Toray Industries where he worked on Global HR strategies and Asia-based Regional L&D Projects.
Born in Germany, educated in Australia and having worked for eight years in Japan, Markus has spent the last five years in Thailand.
After initially joining Resource Link Consulting Group as the Business Development Director in 2008 and spending two years as the General Manager there, Markus ventured out and set up RLC Recruitment in 2012 to focus more on providing a premium, niche and customized approach to recruitment.
In 2014, the firm became a member of the Cornerstone International Group and operates globally as Cornerstone Bangkok.
Markus specializes in working with business leaders to customize and tailor unique recruitment solutions, drawing upon his extensive experience in Corporate Learning and Development, Organizational Development and Leadership Development. His core focus areas for recruitment are Senior HRM and Japanese & German Speaking roles for MNCs in Thailand.
Markus speaks fluent Japanese and German and is a known figure in both the Australian Thai Chamber and the American Thai Chamber of Commerce where he has been an active member in the business community over the past five years since coming to Thailand.
