Professional History

Danya’s background spans 10 years of developing customized recruitment solutions for myriad organizations across Canada and the US. She has worked with clients across all industries, helping them source, attract, assess, and hire top talent. She brings significant exposure within the Education, Technology, Industrial, and CPG arenas. In collaboration with with HR practitioners, Hiring Managers and other senior executives, she creates effective training plans that ensure smooth onboarding for all parties.

Having excelled in a Business Development role herself for many years – with multiple President’s Club and Top Achiever awards to back up that claim – Danya understands intuitively the vital characteristics that predict success in sales. She expertly identifies and assesses a candidate’s technical skills along with their mettle to thrive in a highly competitive, quota-driven environment.

  • Educational Company – Over the past 6 years, Danya has placed over 35 candidates across Canada, with a 98% success rate! She works as an extension of an in-house team to source and place top-tier candidates for a variety of roles, from Inside and Outside Sales and Regional Sales Management through to Technology Management and Sales Executives.
  • Commercial Specialty Cleaning Company – The Director of Business Services was struggling to find and attract the right talent to support the launch of a new sales division. Upon engagement, Danya was instrumental in turning his perspective to a big-picture, strategic approach, thoughtfully analyzing the needs, market landscape and desired outcomes. Her full program structure including KPIs and rewards facilitated the attraction of the high-calibre talent the company required. The sales team grew and achieved record success.
  • Media Technology Company – A large retail data software organization in the US was looking to grow into Canada. Through a referral from a previous client, Danya took on the challenge of sourcing a high-power Sales Leader to manage the Canadian market and actively grow the sales team. The Country Manager required a unique combination of corporate exposure and entrepreneurial spirit – someone who could collaborate as an extension of the US team while adapting the business to Canadian standards. Danya was successful in identifying and attracting a seasoned individual with the ideal background and cultural fit, and the stakeholders have never looked back.
  • Industrial Manufacturer and Distributor – Working closely with the Owner and VP of Sales, Danya navigated the complexities of a niche industry to emerge as the company’s #1 recruiting partner. With her brand of innovative sourcing, networking and lead cultivation, she has successfully shifted traditional paradigms to source talented candidates on a national scale.
