Gary’s special areas of interest include talent management, career transition, coaching and mentoring, executive search and succession planning. In every client relationship, Gary constantly seeks to bring out the best in others.

A prolific writer, Gary has co-authored several publications including, How to Job-Hunt Effectively; a guide to survival and success and So…tell me about yourself – A Guide to Successful Interviews.

He is active in industry organizations, having served as President of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA), President of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA), and Vice President of the Human Resources Association of Calgary (HRAC). He also served as Canada’s founding delegate to the North American Human Resources Management Association (NAHRMA).

An adventurer with a big heart

Gary is passionate about creating a better world by helping others. He is a world traveler who is dedicated to global causes including his Asian Tiger recovery initiative in Thailand and providing school children in rural Cambodia with basic educational supplies and tools they need to be successful.

Closer to home, Gary provides volunteer leadership and support to organizations such as the Calgary Zoological Society, Uncles at Large, the Canadian Forces Liaison Counsel and Cenera’s Emerging Canadian Artist Program.
