Professional History

With over 20 plus years of work experience, I have spent 8 years in the United States (West Lafeyette, IN & Rochester, NY). My work experience spans across three worlds, the corporate world, academia, and as an entrepreneur. Presently, I am the practice head for Leadership Consulting & Organizational Development for Cornerstone India.

As a coach, I have had great experience coaching senior executives across cultures—-US, UK, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka and many more countries.  I am an active member of the coaching community & have been the Director Research & Publications for the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Mumbai Chapter founding Managing Committee.  I spearheaded a national level initiative, ‘The Power of Professional Coaching: Coaching Stories from India’ (published on Kindle, Amazon India). 

My professional experience has been in organizations, such as, the Tata Management Training Centre, SKF India Ltd., and L&T Infotech wherein I handled various portfolios like: Design and Delivery of Training; Talent Development and Applied Research.  While working for the Tata Group, I was also involved in conducting leadership research with Indian companies and I interviewed senior executives (C-Level) across industry verticals to inquire about the key factors contributing to leadership development.  I have been a visiting faculty at premier business schools. 

I have been an Assessor for over 13 years for Development & Assessment Centres with a leading global Talent Analytics companies. I assessed talent at middle, senior management & top management across industry sectors.  I have rich experience in coaching senior executives & individual managers (e.g., CEO’s top team; CXO-2 level) with developmental feedback and facilitating the creation of Individual Development Plan.

As a CXO & leadership Coach, I enable clients to become more successful in their dynamic volatile business environment. Operating from a space of empathy, I partner with the client in their journey of self- discovery & creating awareness of their blind spots. The approach is very solution-focused and reflective in nature. The intense dialogues with the client help to understand the individual’s values, belief systems and uncover some of the self-limiting beliefs that is impacting their behaviors. It is a very engaging coaching style, I listen compassionately, and gently challenge the client to achieve success.  The client moves from unconscious awareness to conscious awareness. My coaching style ensures that the client achieves sustainable growth and development and it is an empowering experience for them.
