Professional History

I have worked in learning and development roles in NatWest and Accenture, and headed up development for leaders of all levels at Accenture. I earned awards from Brandon Hall and the Management Innovation Xchange for ground-breaking behaviour change programmes, such as the Individualised Leadership Programme, the 30 Day Challenge, and Employee Experience.

I am a prolific blogger, have written magazine articles on action learning and coaching supervision, and a book called Being a Sunbeam. I have 15+ years of coaching experience, and was instrumental in setting up and nurturing the Coaching Network, a group of 650+ people who wanted to build their coaching skills for the benefit of the business.

Coaching Approach

My approach to coaching is simple, non-directive and client-centred, encouraging clients to work and think in an adult way with themselves and towards others. I help people to look at things from different perspectives and explore options creatively.  Individuals say that I help them to think deeply for themselves; bring greater degrees of balance and purpose to their work and life and provides a safe environment, in which to make sometimes uncomfortable changes happen.
