My sense of purpose

“We owe it to all of us to get on with what we are good at.”  Auden

Auden’s quote summarizes why I support people in becoming more of what they are good at in the interest of making the world a better place for all of us. To that end I have spent the last thirty years building capacity in individuals, teams, and organizations to support them in living their mandates.  My “signature style” could be described as a combination of servant leadership and an action orientation, bringing everything I have learned and experienced in service to my clients.

Typical Clients

My preferred clients are those who need to align their executive practice with their organization’s strategic direction. Extensive experience with provincial and federal government at many levels, social and private sector senior executives, resource based organizations, university senior leaders.

Professional History

Since my academic achievements, initially at McMaster University, receiving my MA and PhD – all but dissertation, my working career has been involved with education and training of one form or another.  The range of exposure to higher education and training organizations has provided a wealth of background experience and knowledge that defines how I approach my coaching and leadership development practice today.  I was chosen to accept an Executive Certified Management Consultant designation from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants based on my reputation in the industry.  I thrive on helping others become the best that they can be.
