The Majority of my clients are from multinationals, and range from HR professionals to CEO’s and business owners of HK and China enterprises. They tend to work with me as partners and fully trust in my expertise and often use me as their sounding board as well as seeking my support on issues they have in mind. I enjoy working with clients who can challenge my thinking. They often show interest in what is going on in the market and always are open, frank and hungry for more new ideas and concepts before they come up with a new direction for the future move.
A President of Asia Pacific Region of a large MNC realized that he did not specifically nominate or develop a successor, nor did he prepare a well thought succession plan for his Region, prior to his repatriation back to the Corporate Office in six months’ time. He considered that this should be his major task before leaving the Region. Coaching resulted in generating innovative ideas developed from long term succession planning with goals set for five to ten 10 years.
A professional Coach who established her own firm, recently encountered a very difficult client who was assigned to her by his superior. She coached him for three sessions but with little progress and she was on the verge of giving up the case. Coaching her ed her to take a different approach with the client, resulting in a total change of behavior from him and steady progress in the subsequent sessions.
