The Majority of her clients are from multinationals and range from HR professionals to CEO and business owners of Hong Kong and China enterprises. They tend to work with Mona as partners and fully trust in her expertise and often use her as their sounding board as well as seeking support on issues they have in mind. She enjoys working with clients and challenge their thinking based on what is going on in the market. Mona is always open, frank, and helping clients to come up with a new direction for the future.
Results Achieved
A President of the Asia Pacific Region of a large MNC realized that he did not specifically nominate or develop a successor, nor did he prepare a well-thought succession plan for his Region, before his repatriation back to the Corporate Office in six months. He considered that this should be his major task before leaving the Region. Coaching resulted in generating innovative ideas developed from long term succession planning with goals set for five to ten 10 years.
A professional Coach who established her firm recently encountered a very difficult client who was assigned to her by his superior. She coached him for three sessions but with little progress and she was on the verge of giving up the case. Coaching her helped her to take a different approach with the client, resulting in a total change of behavior from him and steady progress in the subsequent sessions.
Coaching Approach
Mona always builds trust with her clients and is sensitive to their concerns and key issues. She focuses on clients’ agenda with alternative approaches to search for his or her real need. She works with clients to arrive at a constructive resolution with his/her ideas and choice. She always gives feedback before closing a session and works out a road map with the client for the next step. Each engagement averages three to six months with a session per week, normally 45 minutes in person or by telephone or SKYPE session. Coaching fees are agreed in advance with a signed coaching agreement
