Typical Clients
My clients are Directors, senior level leaders and managers and emerging leaders and teams who want to develop and refine their skills to facilitate a successful organization, an engaged workforce and personal career resilience. They work in a variety of sectors and industries. Individual and team-based assessments are often used to provide a foundation for awareness and development e.g. emotional intelligence, personal style, conflict management etc.
Results Achieved
A senior manager, in the international banking sector, was well established, had a successful track record and led a high performing team. There was a significant restructuring in the organization. Their role and duties changed and they were assigned a completely new team. With the restructure, morale was low and the new team was disengaged and low performing.
There were several outcomes for coaching: improve team communication and collaboration; manage performance and build capacity; process their own transition to the new organizational structure; and re-engage and align with the organization’s strategic vision. Two coaching tracks unfolded: the individual senior leader (first) and the team (second).
To set the foundation for early discussions and coaching focus, two key assessment tools were used that evaluated leadership style and team emotional Intelligence.
Assessment results facilitated coaching on this leader’s leadership style. Coaching led to insight and awareness and a go-forward personal development coaching plan.
The senior manager and team took the emotional intelligence assessment. The results provided insight and awareness on how individuals and teams manage their emotions and behaviours alone and in relationship to each other and their leader.
The senior leader continues to lead to empower and keep the team engaged. The team continues to build their communication and ways of working together. They’ve established a level of trust and connection that has enabled achieving common goals. Morale has improved and performance has been positively impacted.

Coaching Approach
Using inquiry to support clients’ discovery and development, I approach coaching as a collaborative partnership designed to fuse a client’s passion, creativity and possibilities with purpose, action and performance. I work with individuals to access their awareness of self and others, to build on their strengths and to leverage their capacity for personal, organizational and workplace success.
Dependent on client coaching goals, I may also use assessments to augment essential learning and development areas, such as, emotional intelligence, leadership style, conflict management, personality style, workplace communication and career interests and values.
