Cornerstone Welcomes Eight New Member Offices

The global conference of Cornerstone International Group here this week welcomed eight new member offices from around the world.

Cornerstone is one of the world’s leading executive recruitment firms with some 70 offices in 40 countries.  The group is expanding aggressively both its locations in strategic centres of the world, and its portfolio of leadership development services.

“We’re really excited about our new partners and eager to get working with them,” says Simon Wan of Shanghai, the Chairman and CEO.  “All our new members are leaders in their regions.  It makes us an even more powerful and very motivated network.”

The new members are in Australia (Melbourne and Sydney), Indonesia (Jakarta), Korea (Seoul), Germany (Dusseldorf), Canada (Calgary) and Brazil (Sao Paulo).

The eighth newcomer is located in Mexico City but is a product development partner as opposed to a services provider.  Human Capital International (HCI) is one of the foremost creators of talent profiling and assessment processes and will head up a new Cornerstone Assessment Products division.

“Behavioural assessments play a critical role in executive recruiting today,“ says Cornerstone President Larry Shoemaker, whose own firm is hosting the global conference here.  “With HCI on board, I believe we have the most advanced Cornerstone assessment tools and procedures in the industry.”

Close to 50 members from around the world are attending the conference here, which began with two days of executive coach training.  Cornerstone’s Coaching Division is internationally accredited and certifies Cornerstone members as leadership coaches, preparing them for certification with the International Coaches Federation.
