Allan Rae is a Director of Rae Consulting Pty Limited which was established in 1992.  Rae Consulting, a Melbourne-based firm joined Cornerstone International Group in 2013 and has established the Cornerstone International Group Australia brand under which executive search and leadership consulting services are provided in two locations, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Allan’s background is primarily in Search & Selection Consulting and Human Resource Management spanning some 40 years.

Prior to entering the consulting ranks, Allan held senior Human Resource Management roles with the worldwide Bechtel Group for 11 years. Bechtel is the world’s largest privately owned Engineering Construction Contractor. He served as HR Manager on the Ok Tedi Gold Project in Papua New Guinea and the PT Inco Nickel project in Sulawesi, Indonesia. For three years Allan lived and worked in Saudi Arabia spending one (1) year in Jubail and two (2) years in Riyadh during the construction of the USD 7.5 Billion King Khalid International Airport Project where he was the Recruitment Manager responsible for resourcing the 1,500 strong Bechtel team from Bechtel offices and agents internationally.

Whilst Melbourne, Victoria based, Allan’s clients are located across other Australian states.  He is regularly requested by clients to conduct senior level searches and advertised selection campaigns for the Engineering Construction (EPCM) sector, as well as in the Manufacturing, Supply  Chain, FMCG and Forestry Industries across Australia. These assignments cover diverse technical disciplines as well as functional and executive roles including CEO, CFO and COO level appointments.

He holds tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management from Deakin University, Australia.
